On November 18, 2022, Accudyne Corporation was purchased by industry veterans Rick Werner and John Tassone. Rick and John have a combined 50+ years in the metals industry and most recently in 2018, Rick and John purchased Richardson Metals, Colorado Springs, which has become one of the industry leaders in precision custom aluminum extrusions. Prior to that, Rick served as the President of Independence Tube Corporation with John serving as General Manager of Sales & Marketing. Independence Tube manufactured structural steel tubing in four domestic locations. In October of 2016 the Nucor Corporation purchased Independence Tube which allowed us the opportunity to take our successes learned and apply them to our current endeavors.
Rick will take over at Accudyne as President and John will assume Vice President duties. We both understand that Accudyne has worked hard over the years to earn a reputation of being able to provide volume precision machined tolerance parts. Accudyne Corporation’s reputation for service and quality is very well respected in the industry. The Accudyne team, from sales to machinists, take professional pride in providing a quality product and satisfying our customers. Our goal is to make this ownership transition seamless to all our customers, vendors and our employees.
Dan Kenner has agreed to remain at Accudyne Corporation to ensure a smooth transition and will then be working at expanding the Accudyne Products portfolio.
