  • 316 and 316L stainless steel. Common for surgical instruments and device housings. Corrosion-resistant, sterilizable, and well-understood by regulatory bodies.
  • Titanium. Used where strength-to-weight ratio or MRI compatibility is a design requirement.
  • 6061 aluminum. Appropriate for non-contact structural components and equipment housings where weight reduction is a factor.
  • PEEK. High-performance thermoplastic suitable for sterilizable, load-bearing components.
  • Delrin (acetal). Lower-load applications and certain structural elements.

We offer bead blasting to remove machining marks and create a uniform matte finish, such as for components used in sterile environments or requiring a consistent lot-wide appearance.

Quality Documentation for Regulated Applications

We build quality and documentation into each machining project. Our quality assurance processes include:

  • Material certifications. Mill certs available for all metals. Material traceability documentation included on request.
  • Inspections. First article and in-process inspection using micrometers, optical comparators, and CMMs.
  • Lot traceability. Each production run is tracked to a raw material lot for regulated applications.

Measurements and bead blast uniformity documentation are also available for components requiring a validated surface condition.
