Food & Beverage

Stainless steel industrial mixing tank with a mechanical agitator shaft for food and beverage industry

Food and beverage manufacturers need machined components that allow for clean operation and dependable performance in demanding production environments. Efficiency is also of high importance in the industry, where high production volumes and fast turnaround times are often critical for meeting operational demands.

Accudyne Corporation provides machining services to the food & beverage industry with turnaround times to support demanding production schedules. Learn more about the materials we work with and our quick-turnaround capabilities.

Stainless Steel & Plastic Materials Machined to Spec

Material selection is foundational to having cleanable food contact parts. At Accudyne Corporation, we work with:

  • 304 stainless steel. Can be used for food-contact surfaces, structural frames, and general processing hardware.
  • 316 stainless steel. Higher corrosion resistance for parts exposed to cleaning chemicals, brine, or elevated moisture.
  • UHMW polyethylene. Self-lubricating and highly impact-resistant, with uses in conveyor guides, wear strips, and sliding components.
  • HDPE and Delrin® (acetal). Non-toxic, chemically resistant options can be used for applications where metal isn’t the right fit.

Our stainless steel CNC machining equipment allows us to hold tight tolerances on profiles, including smooth surface finishes that meet design requirements. For plastic components, we can execute CNC plastic machining to handle complex geometries and processes that require precise heat management.

High Precision, Consistent Quality

CNC machining supports the production of parts with minimal waste and high accuracy. This precision reduces the need for rework and adjustments, saving both time and resources. Accudyne Corporation can also eliminate handoffs between prototyping and manufacturing. We can machine initial articles from supplied 3D CAD models.

We can transition proven toolpaths straight into short-to-medium-volume production, maintaining consistent dimensions across batches for a given project. After machining, we can execute secondary drilling, tapping, and surface finishing on our shop floor.

Our quality assurance processes build on:

  • Material certifications. Mill certifications available for stainless steel grades to confirm alloy composition.
  • Dimensional inspection. CMM, optical comparator, and other measurements.
  • Traceability. Part history tied to specific material lots and production runs.

We can build comprehensive dimensional reports and maintain exact material traceability for every single batch we produce for a project.

Why Work With Accudyne Corp?

Our 10,000-square-foot facility in Colorado supports precision machining demands, with HAAS CNC mills and advanced inspection equipment that support both prototype and production-volume work.

A few reasons plant engineers and procurement teams come back to us include:

  • Material expertise across stainless and plastics. We know how 316 behaves in a deep pocket and how UHMW tolerances respond to heat. That knowledge shows up in the finished part.
  • Quick-turn capability. When a line is down, waiting weeks isn’t an option. We prioritize fast turnaround for replacement and emergency components.
  • Quality assurance. Certifications, inspection reports, and traceability records are part of every job.
